With the incomparable Chuck Swirsky as play-by-play announcer alongside color analyst Bill Wennington, Chicago Bulls radio broadcasts will continue for years to come on Audacy sports/talk WSCR 670-AM, according to a renewal announced Monday.

Terms of the multiyear contract were not disclosed, but the agreement extends The Score’s run as radio flagship of the Bulls for all regular season and postseason games. The deal also calls for Swirsky to host a 15-minute pregame show and for a roster of others to host a 30-minute postgame show.

“For years, 670 The Score has been the home for Bulls basketball, and we’re delighted to continue our longstanding relationship with the Reinsdorf family and the Bulls organization,” Rachel Williamson, regional president and market manager of Audacy Chicago, said in a statement.

“As the voice of Chicago sports fans, we look forward to many more years of giving our listeners premier year-round coverage of the team, both on and off the court.”

Michael Reinsdorf, president and chief operating officer of the Bulls, said: “In what is already an exciting time for Bulls fans, we are happy to announce the extension of our partnership with The Score. Over the years, we have had a great relationship and we look forward to building on that for our organization and fan base.”

The Bulls have aired on The Score since 2018 after the team's former radio home, news/talk WLS 890-AM, nullified its contract as part of parent company Cumulus Media's reorganization from bankruptcy.

Friday marked the start of Swirsky's 24th season calling NBA games — and his 14th with the Bulls. He launched his illustrious career as a Chicago sportscaster in 1979.

For Mitch Rosen, program director of The Score, the renewal continues a working relationship with Swirsky that began in the sports department of news/talk WGN 720-AM in 1988. At that time Swirsky was a sports anchor/reporter and Rosen was his intern.
