With Hannibal Buress,\u201d a new weekly series on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cc.com\" target=\"_blank\">Comedy Central<\/a>, to be produced in Los Angeles and set to debut in July.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Buress,\u00a0a regular on Comedy Central\u2019s \u201cBroad City\u201d and co-host of Adult Swim\u2019s \u201cThe Eric Andre Show,\u201d starred last month in the special \u201cHannibal Buress Live From Chicago.\u201d Last fall his comments about Bill Cosby in a stand-up performance went viral and opened the floodgates of sexual assault accusations against the comedy icon.<\/p>\n<p>Babylon also just got the green light to develop and host his own comedy show at the historic Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. He described it as \u201ca hybrid comedy\/interview show with comics and personalities, with the focus being the edges of comedy and free speech.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An eight-year veteran of Chicago Public Media, Babylon hosted and produced \u201cThe Morning AMp\u201d from its inception in 2011 until last month. His departure shortly followed that of co-host Molly Adams, who <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertfeder.com\/2015\/03\/22\/vocalos-molly-adams-joins-touchvision\/\" target=\"_blank\">left<\/a> in March to join the staff of <a href=\"http:\/\/touchvision.com\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0TouchVision, <\/a>the multiplatform news and information network.<\/p>\n<p>Succeeding Babylon and Adams on the morning talk show were Jesse Menendez and Jill Hopkins. \u201cThe Morning AMp\u201d airs from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday on WBEW FM 89.5, WRTE FM 90.7, W217BM FM 91.1 and WLUW FM 88.7, and streams on <a href=\"http:\/\/vocalo.org\" target=\"_blank\">Vocalo.org.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Babylon said he\u2019ll continue to appear as a panelist on NPR's \u201cWait Wait...Don't Tell Me!\u201d the weekly radio news panel game show co-produced by Chicago Public Media.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brian Babylon, the Chicago-born stand-up comic, radio host and self-proclaimed \u201cPrince of Bronzeville,\u201d is going Hollywood.
