While Kass was told he was finished at WLS, Cohn was given the option of trying out for a spot with Howell, sources said.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Donna Baker, vice president and Chicago market manager of Cumulus Media, referred requests for comment to a corporate spokeswoman.<\/p>\n<p>Howell, whose show airs from 5 to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday, joined WLS in January after nine years at Salem Media news\/talk <a href=\"http:\/\/www.560theanswer.com\" target=\"_blank\">WIND AM 560.<\/a> At WIND he was teamed with Amy Jacobson, but he has been hosting solo at WLS.<\/p>\n<p>Cohn joined WLS full-time in 2013 when she succeeded the late Jim Edwards (aka Jake Hartford) alongside Kass.
