On <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/katiemkim\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter,<\/a> she wrote: \u201cAfter 4 incredible yrs in NM, I'm leaving humbled &amp; grateful for a new job in Chicago. I'll cherish my time here. Thank you for your trust.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A southern California native and 2009 <em>magna cum laude<\/em> graduate of the University of Southern California (with degrees in broadcast journalism and art history), she began as a reporter for WILX-TV, the NBC affiliate in Lansing, Michigan, before joining WRQE in 2010.
