<\/a> Hubbard Radio Chicago<\/p><\/div>\n

Hubbard Radio Chicago delivered a one-two punch in the Nielsen Audio survey, with two of its powerhouse stations leading the market in ratings released Wednesday.<\/p>\n

WTMX 101.9-FM, the hot-adult contemporary station known as The Mix, finished first for the third consecutive month, followed this time by WDRV 97.1-FM, the classic rock station known as The Drive.<\/p>\n

Drew Horowitz<\/p><\/div>\n

Sentimental staffers viewed the double victory as a gift from the ratings gods to longtime radio executive Drew Horowitz, who announced last month he's retiring<\/a> at the end of the year as president and chief operating officer of Hubbard Radio. Earlier in his tenure Horowitz was instrumental in the development of both The Mix and The Drive.<\/p>\n

The company's winning streak also was reflected in mornings, middays and afternoons.<\/p>\n

Eric Ferguson, Melissa McGurren and Brian \u201cWhip\u201d Paruch of The Mix again finished first in mornings. In third place were Brian Sherman and Steve Tingle of The Drive, with Felicia Middlebrooks and Pat Cassidy of Entercom all-news WBBM 780-AM\/WCFS 105.9-FM in between.<\/p>\n

In middays, Bob Stroud of The Drive and Lisa Allen of The Mix tied for first place. Greg Brown of Cumulus Media classic hits WLS 94.7-FM was third.<\/p>\n

In afternoons, Steve Seaver and Janda Lane of The Drive were first, Kevin \u201cKoz\u201d Koske and Jennifer Roberts of The Mix were second, and Mick Lee of iHeartMedia adult contemporary WLIT 93.9-FM was third.<\/p>\n
