He was succeeded in his last role as feature reporter on \u201cGood Day Chicago\u201d by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertfeder.com\/2013\/11\/08\/time-to-move-on-jake-then-just-keep-moving\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jake Hamilton,<\/a> former movie reviewer for KRIV-TV, the Fox station in Houston.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A fourth generation South Side Chicagoan and University of Texas graduate, Elwood joined Fox 32 in 1999 from WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt's been a crazy couple months but as John Lennon sings 'Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans.\u2019 \u201d Elwood wrote on his<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/patrick.elwood.965\" target=\"_blank\"> Facebook<\/a> page. \u201cSo from the station of the 3 Stooges to the station of the Family Classics, I'm so fortunate to be a part of Chicago's Very Own!
