For the fifth time since it signed on 35 years ago, Chicago’s regional sports network is getting a new name.

The move, announced Wednesday and first reported by Chicago Tribune sports writer Phil Rosenthal, will bring CSN Chicago in line with the eight other regional sports networks across the country in the NBC Sports Group.

“We’re excited to complete the brand evolution of our remaining RSNs, which will now include the iconic NBC Sports name on all of our networks,” David Preschlack, president of NBC Sports Regional Networks, said in a statement. “This development is a reaffirmation of our continued commitment to provide the best, most compelling local sports coverage to our fans across the country.”
