It’s the latest shuffle on the perennially low-rated morning show, which tied for last place in the most recent Nielsen sweep. CBS 2’s overall morning viewership declined 17 percent from last year.

Starting June 26, Bailey and Kennedy will co-anchor from 4:30 to 7 a.m. and from 11 to 11:30 a.m. weekdays, with meteorologist Megan Glaros and traffic reporter Derrick Young, according to news director Jeff Kiernan.

Suzanne LeMignot

Succeeding Bailey as solo weekend morning anchor will be Suzanne LeMignot, a veteran reporter and fill-in anchor at the station. “Suzanne has done a great job filling in for Marissa while she has been on maternity leave and will continue field reporting during the week,” Kiernan told staffers in an email.

Kennedy joined CBS 2 in May 2014 from WKYC, the NBC affiliate in Cleveland. She replaced Susan Carlson, who now anchors weekends for NBC-owned WMAQ-Channel 5.
