Officially I was informed that this was done \u201cfor business reasons.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>All I can say is I enjoyed every day of my association with the Chicago Tribune and I appreciate the unique opportunity and freedom I was given. I came to know a lot of great people there and I wish them well.<\/p>\n<p>But this is not the end for me. It\u2019s only the beginning of a new chapter. While I figure out what\u2019s next, I will continue to do the work I love \u2014 reporting on the Chicago media beat \u2014 right here at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertfeder.com \" target=\"_blank\">RobertFeder.com. <\/a>(There\u2019s no paywall now, so you no longer need a Tribune digital subscription to read me.)
