A giant \u201cfor sale\u201d sign just went up on Chicago\u2019s richest radio group.<\/p>\n

The announcement <\/a>Tuesday by CBS Chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves that the company plans to sell its CBS Radio division suddenly puts seven of Chicago\u2019s blue-chip stations \u2014 including top-rated <\/a>all-news combo WBBM AM 780 and WCFS FM 105.9 <\/a>\u2014 up for grabs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Telling investors that CBS would \u201cexplore strategic options for radio as a whole,\u201d Moonves said: \"Going forward, we will do everything we can to assist in this transformative action and believe it will be to the benefit of our division, our stations and our people.\u201d<\/p>\n
