No specific goals have been set, but multiple sources confirmed that staff reductions would be necessary to offset revenue shortfalls. Departments throughout Sun-Times Media \u2014 including editorial \u2014 would be affected.<\/p>\n<p>Officially, Sun-Times Media parent company Wrapports LLC did not respond to repeated requests for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the full text of Rosenbaum's statement:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAny further layoffs in the editorial department on the part of Sun-Times Media will be at its own peril. The Guild promptly challenged the layoffs of our Sun-Times Unit Chair and the entire photography department with the National Labor Relations Board. The Guild will exhaust all legal options to prevent any future layoffs.
