Kaitlin Cody

Joining the weather staff of Fox-owned WFLD-Channel 32 is Kaitlin Cody, weekday morning meteorologist at WCCB, the CW affiliate in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Starting in mid-June, Cody will replace Tammie Souza, who left in February to join WCAU, the NBC-owned station in Philadelphia. In the interim, former Fox 32 meteorologist Rick DiMaio has returned to fill in on weekends.

Cody, a Michigan native and graduate of Central Michigan University, joined WCCB in 2014. She began as an intern at WJBK, the Fox-owned station in Detroit, and worked as a meteorologist and general assignment reporter for WCYB in Bristol, Virginia, and WEMT in Greeneville, Tennessee.

Fox 32’s weather staff includes chief meteorologist Bill Bellis and meteorologists Mike Caplan and Mark Strehl.
